Nestled at 47 Rue des Trois Bornes in the 11th arrondissement, this restaurant has quickly become a favorite for both locals and tourists seeking an authentic Thai dining experience.

Le Bangkokien is a small but vibrant space where the ambiance is as warm and inviting as the food itself. With its charming, casual setting, you can expect a laid-back vibe perfect for both intimate dinners and casual gatherings with friends. But what truly sets this place apart is the menu - a carefully crafted list of traditional Thai dishes, each one prepared with precision and bursting with flavor.

The menu is a treasure trove for anyone who loves bold and spicy flavors. From aromatic curries to fresh spring rolls, every dish at Le Bangkokien is designed to transport you straight to Thailand. The Pad Thai here is a standout, with its perfect balance of sweet, sour, and savory elements. The noodles are cooked to perfection, and the dish comes with an abundance of fresh ingredients, including shrimp, peanuts, and a hint of lime for that zingy finish.

Another must-try is the Green Curry, a favorite among those who enjoy a bit of heat. Made with coconut milk and green curry paste, this dish is rich and creamy, packed with tender chicken or vegetables, and complemented by fresh herbs that add a delightful touch of brightness. If you're someone who likes a bit of spice, this dish won't disappoint.

For those seeking something lighter, the Thai salads are a great option. The Som Tum, a papaya salad with a refreshing crunch, comes with a tangy dressing that tingles the taste buds. The balance of chili, lime, and fish sauce creates an irresistible flavor profile that leaves you wanting more. It's the perfect starter or side dish to share with friends.

Le Bangkokien doesn't just excel in flavor; it also takes pride in its commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The kitchen ensures that everything is prepared from scratch, so you get the authentic taste of Thai cuisine with every bite. • By far the best Thai I've ever had, and that includes Thailand! Michelin star quality food, and good prices. Absolutely outstanding, wish I could rate it higher.

  • Aroy! The plat du jour was Massaman Curry and that just happens to be my favorite. Coupled with my Singha I was back in Thailand for the evening. The prices are fair and the portions royal! Diner in this cozy/small restaurant was the perfect ending of my day in Paris.

  • Great little place with amazing food and fantastic service. Had the Poulet croustillant sauce mayo-citron, crispy chicken with rice and the Matcha Tiramisu which were all tasty and very good portions. Highly recommend. Will be back for sure! Also highly recommend getting a glass of their natural white wine (Domaine Durrmann Ron-rond).
